SmartHome - SYSTEM OPENNESS

With a SmartHome system, you can automate any area to suit your personal preferences::
in addition to the heating, aircon, lighting and shade, security and monitoring, climate and environmental systems, you can also automate your Novoferm garage door. The SmartHome system is easy to install and impressively easy to use, as well as offering maximum security. You decide for yourself what is important: remote control, automation, individual timing profiles or a combination of all three.

To use the SmartHome app together with Novoferm sectional garage doors, the Novoferm garage door operator is connected to a standard router using the SmartHome access point and the SmartHome plug-in module. The entire solution can be intuitively set up using a free smartphone app (iOS or Android) that can then be used for convenient control.

If you own a sectional garage door and buy a new Novoferm garage door operator (NovoPort^®, Novomatic 423 and Novomatic 563 S), you can now add to your app collection. The Homematic IP app from eQ-3, the SmartHome app from innogy or the TYDOM app from Delta Dore are available free of charge from the App Store or Google Play.

All apps are therefore suitable for both Apple and Android systems. The apps make it easier than ever
to operate your sectional garage door: all it takes is a fi nger swipe across the touchscreen to open and close the sectional garage door, control the lighting, and even listen to drive parameters. What’s more, the ventilation position can also be activated using the Homematic IP app.

Requirements:
When using the Homematic IP app, innogy SmartHome app or TYDOM app, or when out of sight of the sectional garage door, the automatic sectional garage door system must be protected by an additional opto sensor, alongside the standard power limiter. The controller cannot be used for up-and-over doors.
